It was a first, for any community company from Santa Barbara to perform and teach in Istanbul.  

Joanna Nobbe was kind enough to help translate my teaching script into Turkish and taught me some pronunciation, and I taught in Turkish!

The artists paid for their own travel adventure fees, blessed Kaita and Anaya.

A deeply profound experience.
