These are not easy images to look at, but they were a part of the process of questing freedom, and healing. They give voice to the unspeakable and the horrific that exists in the shadow of the collective unconscious. Storytelling, in art, and alchemically morphing potent and powerful energies that present themselves as dark, from the annals of ACES to High, was a part of my path. As my sister Leilani would say, Art is Our Medicine. From the first two pads of this project, I have processed into a snapfish book, and juxtaposed the hard emotional and frightening edges with kitschy sayings offered as embellishments by the company selling the product.
