Kali - wild woman

Beginning a course led by Christina Pratt, shadow protocol.

I begin with "i dunno"

ʻO ka wahine ʻāhiu a pupule kuʻu hoakōkua ikakai a ʻoiaʻiʻo

ʻO Kali kona inoa i kahi mau poʻe

Ua hele mai ʻoe iaʻu i koʻu manawa hōʻola

Aloha iā ʻoe no ke ao o ka ʻoiaʻio

Aloha iā ʻoe  no ka momona o meli

Aloha iā ʻoe  no ka makana o mea ahi

Aloha iā ʻoe no nā hulahula hoʻokalakupua

ʻIke au iā ʻoe i ka hekeli

ʻIke au iā ʻoe i nā makani ikaika loa

ʻIke au iā ʻoe i ka luku e hana ka wahi no ka hana hou

Eia kaʻu mohai o aloha nau

E hōʻā i ka ahi

E ʻīnana i ka makana akamai a ikaika

E ho mai i ka momona

E ho mai i ke akamai

E ho mai i ka ʻike

E ho mai i ka mana

E ho mai i ka hōʻola ʻana o nā pilikia ʻapau o kēia manawa

no ka pono o nā mea e hiki mai ai

Amama, ua noa

The wild and crazy woman my helping friend strong and true

Kali is your name to some people

You have come to me in this form, with many arms, gifting the blazing sword, with honey, as a great healer in destroying what sought to be destroyed

To grow this soul in your wild wisdom

I ask for you to reveal your archetype

I see you in the thunder and lightening

I see you as the element of fire

I see you in the strong winds

I know you in the process of tending

Our humble composting tumblers and the pulling of

Invasive weeds to make space for fresh thought

My bones know you as the fire of Pele

My bones know you as the dance of Laka

My bones know you in the sounds of Africa

My bones know you in the Celtic mysteries and the path of the druid

The secret teachings revealed in exactly the right moment

I give you this offering

I thank you
